About Us
Discover Pacific Northwest
Discover Pacific Northwest is a family business based in northern Oregon, 13 miles east of Portland. We're at the west end of the glorious Columbia River Gorge, where you can easily visit natural wonders such as Multnomah Falls, shown here.
We've lived in several different states and when we decided it was time to find a place to settle down, this area was on the top of the list. What drew us here? So many things - beautiful scenery in both rural and urban areas, mild winters and terrific weather the rest of the year, easy access to travel ventures, and opportunities to learn, grow and create the life we want to have.Each time I've moved from an area I've regretted that I didn't see more of it. I decided that here I will explore as many places as I can, whether it be a few minutes away or several hours or longer. There is so much to see and do - I don't want to miss any of it. As this site develops, we will be adding a section where you can add photos and comments about your own favorite places here. I look forward to seeing the Pacific Northwest through your eyes.
